How you do this??

Also: iBook 800mhz, TEH FIRST GAMEBOY EVAR, 2 ten year old Dells.

@previous
a pair of small, old (but durable) prototype kiddy scissors, and a a japanese yellow version that happened to have a working mem batt.
Basically I open the scissors just a little bit and insert the tips around the mutant nintedo screw. Then turn counter-clockwise. At some point the scissors can't warp apart any farther, and basically lock the screw sideways between the blade tips. Then it's just a simple matter of holding the scissors still while spinning the cartridge beneath them until the screw is out. Then I just swapped the circuit boards and used some random screw from my toolbox to hold them together. Unfortunately, I noticed too late that the new screw was too large, and it split the stem inside. It holds together, but I doubt the old screw will work anymore, and properly sized replacements would probably need and hardened metal band around the plastic in order to hold.

Here's the Japanese cart with the English circuit board and scissors with screw.

@2,106
hey wait, is that a Commodore on the top left?!

Edit:
Not my SP by the way.

You know what? I WISHED so bad, that I could have a GameBoy printer. I never even knew about them until G/S, I would have used all the ink in a day. I would have printed out stickers like crazy.

Anonymous G replied with this 7.7 years ago, 2 hours later, 1 month after the original post[Top] #4,493

@4,486

Is it a glitch or a cheat? I don't want to cheat!

Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 7.7 years ago, 22 hours later, 1 month after the original post[Top] #4,517

@previous

Its a glitch, has something to do with walking around in cerulean.

Anonymous B replied with this 7.6 years ago, 23 hours later, 1 month after the original post[Top] #4,551

@4,493
to get Mew in gen 3, you can use this glitch: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Celebi_egg_trick#Other_methods
You'll need to figure out which attack Index number coincides with Mew's index number though. There's probably as list of them somewhere.

Uh, disregard that, that's for gen 2 ^_^;

Yeah, sorry about that

@4,437
apparently it's for updating the gameshark. You plug it into a comm (printer) port on the computer and the link port on the gameboy, and you're supposedly able to download cheat onto it or something, instead of entering each one manually. Except when I try it, it just brings up a screen on the GameBoy saying "Downloading Skins" or something like that.

Also, the CD drive in @3,995 isn't original. I had to replace it when one of the gears cracked.
Other specs: Windows XP, 400mhz Pentium II, 512MB RAM, 10GB system boot disk, 500GB secondary storage disk, 10 USB ports.
That's my seedbox!
