Yes, but the afterlife is more similar than expected...

so, if everyone's a zombie, does that make grey a hipster?
I take it by this being back at the top that my test was successful and this thread received a spambot?'
Orrr I was on the topics page instead..

lol. it'll take a few months for the bots to pick up on your bait. ever notice how they always go for really old topics with high view counts? My theory is that they treat this place like a blog software, in that threads are static and age according to the time posted, rather than time of last post. When they spam blogs the idea is to go for dead ones and outdated/forgotten posts that won't be checked on and cleaned. Since we have no sage function, every post autobumps and we are immediately aware of the spam, and we play a winning game.
Regarding the blog stuff, I know that's
how spam works. I still have no idea
why they think this is somehow useful for them (the spammer). But then, I just don't see how money flows simply by making a bunch of shitposts on lots of low-traffic websites across the internet.

Maybe they have some sort of code that will try to spam on many different sites regardeless of the format. Get traffic by shooting in all directions with low accuracy.

You seem to imply grey hasn't always been a hipster.

Somehow the fates aligned to create a response more perfect than any I could come up with.
